The plain-English rules for using this site, requesting a quote and placing an order with Mercury Infosys Limited.
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 4 October 2026. These terms apply to anyone who browses this website or buys from us. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will explain it before you commit to anything.
Who We Are
Mercury Infosys Limited is a UK company registered in England & Wales, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. We supply networking and IT infrastructure hardware to businesses. References in these terms to “we”, “us” or “our” mean Mercury Infosys Limited.
By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Using This Website
You may use this site to research products and request quotes for your own business. Please do not:
- copy, mirror or scrape our product data, prices or content for a competing site or service;
- send enquiries automatically with scripts, bots or bulk tools, or submit details that are not genuine;
- interfere with the site’s security checks, or try to access areas or data you have not been given access to;
- upload or transmit anything harmful, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights.
We can suspend or block access if the site is being misused. That is a protection for genuine customers, not a way to avoid difficult conversations — if something goes wrong, contact us and we will sort it out.
Quotes, Prices And Orders
Prices shown on the site are indicative and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. They can change with manufacturer pricing, exchange rates and availability, and errors and omissions are excepted.
A quote we send you is an offer to discuss, not a contract. It is normally valid for 30 days unless we say otherwise in it. A contract between us comes into existence only when we confirm an order in writing (email is enough) and state the price, quantity, products and delivery terms for that order.
If the manufacturer changes or discontinues a product after your quote, we will tell you and offer either an equivalent alternative or a full refund of anything you have already paid.
Product Information And Lead Times
Product descriptions, specifications and compatibility notes come from the manufacturer and are given in good faith, but manufacturers change them without notice. Where a specification matters to your installation, confirm it with us before ordering — we would rather check than have you discover it later.
Lead times are estimates based on current stock and supplier commitments. We will tell you as soon as we know a date has slipped, and you may cancel an order for a delay we have not met and receive a refund of amounts paid.
Payment And Delivery
Payment terms, delivery dates and delivery charges are set out in the order confirmation for each order and become binding when the order is confirmed. Unless we agree something else in writing, title and risk in the goods pass to you on delivery.
Please check deliveries on arrival and tell us promptly about damage or shortages so we can raise a claim with the carrier while we still can.
Warranties, Returns And Faults
We sell new, genuine equipment. Manufacturer warranties pass through to you, and we handle the warranty process on your behalf so you do not have to deal with the manufacturer yourself. Warranty length and terms are set by the manufacturer and are stated in the order confirmation.
Our sales are business-to-business, so the Consumer Rights Act 2015 cooling-off and cancellation rights do not apply to orders placed for a business. If you no longer need an item, tell us within 7 days of delivery: unopened stock in resalable condition can normally be returned for a refund or credit, and we will tell you before you send anything back what applies.
A fault is not the same as a change of mind. If equipment arrives faulty or fails within warranty, we will repair, replace or refund it, and we cover return carriage on faulty items.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for making sure the products you order suit your environment, licensing and compliance requirements, and for installing and configuring them correctly or using a competent integrator. Where we give advice, we give it on the information you provide and it is offered to help you decide, not to take that decision away from you.
Our Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, our total liability for an order is limited to the price you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost revenue, lost data or the cost of downtime. We keep this limit because hardware is sold at trade margins; if you need a higher level of assurance, ask us and we will discuss options before you order.
Brand Names And Logos
Cisco, Meraki, Ubiquiti, UniFi, Fortinet, APC and all other brand names and logos belong to their respective owners and are used to describe the products we stock. We are an independent reseller and distributor — these pages are not published by those manufacturers, and ownership of any software or content on this site stays with its owner.
Third-Party Links
Some pages link to manufacturer datasheets and other third-party sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Spam, Misuse And Blocking
Enquiry forms are protected by a security check and volume limits. Submissions that are automated, falsely attributed or repeated in bulk may be blocked without notice, and we may report persistent abuse to the relevant platform.
Changes To These Terms
We may update these terms as our business changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed, and the version in force at the time we confirm your order is the one that applies to that order.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are based in another country, this does not affect any mandatory consumer protection you have where you live.
