Meraki MS models differ in PoE capability. Check whether connected devices need 802.3af, 802.3at or 802.3bt, then verify both the per-port limit and the total available switch power budget.
Confirm the licensing model
Meraki documents co-termination and subscription licensing. Co-termination uses an organisation-wide expiry date; subscription licensing is network-bound. Confirm the model used by your Dashboard organisation before choosing a licence or renewal.

Can Meraki switches stack with our existing Cisco switches?
Meraki switches stack with each other, not with Catalyst stacks. Where both exist, we connect them over uplinks and design the VLAN and routing hand-off.
