Yes. Cisco renamed the Firepower range to Cisco Secure Firewall; the 1010 hardware and its threat defence software are the same product under the current name.

A single site of up to roughly 50 to 100 users where one compact appliance handles the perimeter, remote-access VPN and the site-to-site tunnel back to head office. It runs the same Secure Firewall Threat Defence software as the larger models, so policy and reporting stay consistent across the estate.

How many users will a Secure Firewall 1010 support?
Comfortably up to around 100 users on a typical UK business internet connection. If SSL inspection is on for everyone, or you need more than 1 Gbps inspected, we would size a 1120 or 2110 instead and explain why.
Does it need threat defence licences?
The appliance firewalls and terminates VPN on its own, but IPS, URL filtering and malware defence come from threat defence licences. We quote hardware, licences, management and support together so nothing is missing at go-live.
